The first T20 match between Pakistan and West Indies in Bridgetown, West Indies ended in a draw due to rain.
West Indies scored 85 runs in nine overs for the loss of five wickets.
Avon Lewis had not yet recovered when he fell victim to Shaheen Shah Afridi and returned to the pavilion. After him, Nicholas was also caught on the ball of Muhammad Hafeez.Andre Russell scored seven runs and was hit by Usman Qadir while Chris Gayle was caught by Muhammad Wasim. The match was delayed for several hours due to rain. Pakistan won the toss and elected to field first.
The other three matches between the two teams will be played at the Guyana National Stadium on July 31, August 1 and August 3.After the T20 series, the two-Test series between Pakistan and the West Indies will start on August 12, while the second Test will be played on August 20.
Both Test matches will be played at Sabina Park, Jamaica.
It should be noted that this will be the first Test series of West Indies in the ICC World Test Championship 2023.
